adidas Hoops is taking their basketball models to an interesting place this upcoming season with a number of unique looks on the horizon for 2016-2017. Next up is the adidas D Rose 7 Boost, a premium offering that pairs Primeknit with full-length Boost cushioning on the midsole, angular supportive overlays, and a Crazylight Boost-like outsole unit that stresses a strange traction pattern to better help quick cuts to the basket. With Derrick Rose relocating to New York for at least a season, the change of scenery could help revamp his career and give people a new narrative to follow after struggling with injuries the past few years in his native Chicago. And while Andrew Wiggins’ upcoming adidas Crazy Explosive took a Chef Curry-like beating on the internet not too long ago, it will be interesting to see how the world reacts to Derrick Rose’s latest silhouette with his change of city.
