Under Armour’s recent lifestyle sensibilities was capped off by the announcement of their new Under Armour Sportswear imprint. UAS will focus on making quality casual models with hints of their performance technologies. The same can be said about the upcoming Curry Lux Collection slated to arrive this weekend at select retailers like Concepts NY and Sneaker Politics.
The Under Armour Curry Lux takes Steph Curry’s first model, the UA Curry One, to task with a premium seamless construction of either suede or leather. The monochromatic finishes utilize embossed ‘UA’ branding on the side panel while metal eyelets add a luxurious finish. The rest of the Curry Lux model remains the same as the Curry 1, with the ‘Charged’ midsole unit retaining its sleek and aggressive shape. Touches of gum and vachette tan even land on the leather renditions for a refined aesthetic.
The UA Curry Lux Collection will release during a special Concepts NY launch tomorrow, August 5th followed by an in-store release at Sneaker Politics on Saturday, August 6th.
