Are we going to see an adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 anytime soon? While the three stripes have been tinkering with the model thanks to the Ultra Boost Uncaged variants with collaborations from Solebox and Hypebeast, there’s also been some general release pairs that have added a slip-on construction for a lightweight ride to rival the adidas NMD’s casual style. Today we get a look at an updated Primeknit construction for the coming Spring/Summer 2017 season.

Here the Ultra Boost returns in four monochromatic colorways that sees a sturdier, thicker Primeknit woven material comprise the entirety of the upper. This might mean less ventilation while running, but it will hold down the casual category thanks to a sturdier build. The pattern almost mimics the upcoming adidas NMD “Glitch Pack” where sharp lines accentuate the sleek build.

The rest of the model remains unchanged as the Ultra Boost’s cage overlay and heel construction add a lockdown support. There’s no colorized Boost here either, but the Continental rubber outsole should add a durable finish to the instant classic running model. Expect these four adidas runners to arrive at retailers this Fall/Winter season. More photos below.
