Updated December 5th, 2016: The adidas NMD R1 PK “Tri-Color” pack re-releases on December 26th, 2016 for $170.
adidas Originals continues to surprise us with every adidas NMD release, as this latest NMD R1 Primeknit “Tri-Color” Pack utilizes a brand new three stripe color blocking for a change of pace. The woven Primeknit construction has always been the most sought after of the numerous adidas NMD variations as a sock-like fit around the ankle adds supreme comfort to match the breathability found throughout.
Here the adidas NMD R1 Primeknit shines in both a black upper paired with red, white, and blue three stripe branding or a marbled white and black speckled aesthetic with red, black, and royal stripes. Each colorway also offers up that international “The Brand With The Three Stripes” wordmark on the heel tab which now features subtle matching stripes of red and blue to coincide with the new branding choice. There’s still no word yet on an official release date, but rumor has it this duo will arrive at retailers around December 2016.
