The Black Boost found on the adidas NMD XR1 “Triple Black” definitely turned some heads when paired with its striped Primeknit upper and matching cage. It was even harder to deal with the fact that the pair was a European exclusive when it released back in late-August, but today we have some good news. The adidas NMD XR1 Triple Black will be available stateside on September 17th in limited quantities.
Today we get an even better look at the NMD XR1 Triple Black complete with additional Core Black/Dark Grey striped laces to match the Beetlejuice-esque pattern found throughout the woven upper. Premium details include a suede tongue patch with embossed trefoil branding, a slimmed down midsole for an even lighter ride that shines thanks to that alternate black color, a matching suede construction on the heel, and a bolstered cage for a lockdown fit.
