Mike Conley made news this off-season by becoming one of the highest-paid players in the NBA even without ever making an All-Star game appearance or an All-NBA Team. Conley has his dad to thank for the negotiating tactics as his father doubles as his agent and preached loyalty to the Memphis Grizzlies over all else. That wasn’t the only thing that Conley negotiated either, as this season the point guard will be switching from Under Armour to the Jumpman. Conley showcased the new Air Jordan XXX1 during the Grizzlies’ NBA Media Day festivities. He even took a shot at the Chef Currys when asked about his new shoe deal, saying that he “wasn’t messing with those anymore”. So did Conley have the best off-season out of any NBA player given his new contract and Jordan Brand signing? We can’t wait to see the Jordan 31 exclusives coming his way this NBA season.
Mike Conley, who is now signed to Jordan Brand, was asked about the Chef Currys. His response, "Yea, I'm not messin' with those anymore."
