One of year’s more notable collaborations is that of Vans and Fear Of God, the street-fashion label headed by Jerry Lorenzo. On Monday, he took to the streets of LA’s Skid Row to hand out free pairs of shoes and apparel to those who need it the most – the homeless. There’s no question that the shoes were highly sought after by sneakerheads and by the young and fashionable, but instead of handing them out to his friends and family (who could easily afford them), he’d much rather see them put to good use by those who value the shoes for their sole purpose. Big ups to Jerry for taking the initiative. Check out a recap of his benevolent gesture below.
