adidas Officially Introduces the NMD R2 With a December Release Date

adidas Officially Introduces the NMD R2 With a December Release Date

Adidas Nmd R2 Announced 1

It’s the hottest sneaker silhouette on the planet right now, and now it has a sequel. Today adidas originals officially announces the NMD R2, the follow-up to the insanely popular NMD R1 that’s taken the sneaker world by storm all year long. Dropping almost exactly a year after the initial NMD debuted in December 2015, the R2 will arrive in its first two colorways seen here in olive and black striped Primeknit with waxed suede heel panels on December 3rd.

As you can see, the NMD R2 maintains a very similar silhouette as the R1 with a few tweaks to the overall design—most glaringly, the absence of the midsole “bumper” inserts in favor of a sleeker all Boost design (the medial sides have one rear bumper). Enjoy a look at what should prove to be a sneaker just as popular and sought after as the NMD R1, and get ready for the R2’s drop on December 3rd. We’ll keep you updated with more release and availability info on the adidas NMD R2 here at Sneaker News.
