James Harden has been on an absolute tear to start the season thanks to new head coach Mike D’Antoni’s 7 seconds or less offense and laissez-faire approach to defense. James is also the proud recipient of his first signature shoe with adidas after signing that 13-year $200 million contract.
The adidas Harden Vol. 1 will debut on December 3rd in a Houston Rockets-themed Black/White-Red combination, but today we get a first look at an upcoming Black/Gold Harden Vol 1 colorway featuring an updated suede material selection on the contrasting toe while the Primeknit woven pattern looks rather Yeezy-esque. Premium touches of gold land on the heel’s three stripe branding while a matching smokey overlay hides the Boost midsole unit.
