Updated March 31st 2017: The adidas NMD XR1 “Navy” releases again on April 6th, 2017.
It looks like the striped Primeknit pattern we’ve seen on the upcoming adidas NMD R2 isn’t exclusive to only that model. The NMD XR1 will also feature the striped motif, as we can see by this preview of a royal blue colorway that will also be hitting retailers soon. The stripes are a little more subtle than what we’ve seen on the R2 so far, as this XR1 receives a completely tonal blue upper—which also goes for the cage, leather heel tab, and misdole “bumpers”. No official release date for this colorway has been revealed yet, but don’t be surprised if they arrive right around the same time as the NMD R2’s drop on December 3rd.
