Kyrie Irving debuted the Kyrie 3 on Christmas Day, and the silhouette had a rather impressive on-court unveiling to the tune of 14 4th quarter points and a game-winning bucket over Klay Thompson and the Golden State Warriors. Nike Basketball even surprised us all with an unexpected Nike SNKRS drop of the Nike Kyrie 3 “Samurai”. So what’s next for the $120 performance basketball model? There are rumors of a New Year’s Eve Nike Kyrie 3 release, and while the initial thought was that this Nike Kyrie 3 Team Red would be that pair, the release date is actually slated for January 7th, 2017.

The Nike Kyrie 3 Team Red will also be available in grade school sizes featuring a Cavaliers’ themed Team Red shade throughout the upper while a contrasting Total Crimson and Pink Blast Swoosh branding livens up the entire colorway. The strange independent traction pods that allow for quick lateral movement also feature hints of blue underneath for added vibrancy. Catch a detailed look at the Nike Kyrie 3 Team Red in a GS size run below and be sure to head over to our always updated Release Dates page for a better look at more Kyrie 3 colorways for 2017.
