The University of North Carolina’s Roy Williams now ranks among the most winningest coaches in college basketball history as Jordan Brand celebrated the Tar Heels coach and his 800th win with a special commemorative package.

Roy Williams has been coaching since the early 80s so the Jumpman went a little old school with the offering, just with a new school flair by dressing up the Air Jordan 1 Low Pinnacle with an autograph from fellow UNC legend Michael Jordan. The stained oak laser engraved box features the number 800 as the central feature of the commemorative box set while other details include Roy Williams’ highlights like eight trips to the NCAA Final Four, two National Championships, and his induction into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.

Roy Williams currently ranks ninth in all-time NCAA Division 1 wins, but you can expect him to climb up the latter each year with the strength of the Tar Heels roster. Jordan Brand is also providing 800 t-shirts to UNC to be purchased with all proceeds going to UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, a support Coach Williams has supported for quite some time. Check out more detailed shots of the commemorative package below and stay tuned for more of the latest Air Jordan Release Dates right here on Sneaker News.
