adidas Has Another Hit On Their Hands With The Flashback Primeknit

The adidas NMD series is still going strong and has inspired the three stripes to churn out a number of retro-inspired lifestyle offerings that will define the future through its classic past. The adidas Dragon was a pre-ZX running model that featured a jagged outsole unit to help runners keep pace with superior grip. While we haven’t seen a retro of that model since 2012, the Dragon has inspired the latest lifestyle Primeknit silhouette with the adidas Flashback Primeknit now available at select spots like Politics in two vibrant Spring 2017-ready women’s exclusive colorways.

The adidas Flashback Primeknit definitely has some NMD DNA in it thanks to a simple lightweight slip-on Primeknit base. The Dragon’s design heritage can be found on the EVA midsole and rubberized outsole with retro-inspired sawtooth tooling. The upper also featued bolstered TPU support on the three stripes and toebox while the heel will bring some memories of the NMD’s.
