That being said, weird isn’t a bad thing, because we’re sure many will find this unique new model from Nike named the TR 17 an appealing silhouette. Some sort of hybrid between a high-performance Air Max cushioned trainer and a lifestyle-leaning woven chukka, the TR 17 doesn’t quite fit into any sneaker category, but we’re guessing that’s exactly what Nike was going for. The shoe features neoprene inner bootie with a premium leather upper with woven stitching for a unique lacing system and heel detailing.
