James Harden To Debut New Colorway For First All-Star Start

James Harden To Debut New Colorway For First All-Star Start

Adidas Harden Vol 1 All Star No Brakes Release Info 01

What a difference a year makes. Last season, James Harden and the Houston Rockets struggled to find team chemistry and The Beard was a notable scratch-off on all three of the All-NBA Teams despite putting up his usual ridiculous numbers. Fast forward to this year’s NBA All-Star Weekend and James has lead the Rockets to a 38-17 record good enough for third in the hyper-competitive Western Conference and has thrived under new coach Mike D’Antoni. Averaging nearly 30 points and 12 assists a game was good enough for Harden to earn an All-Star starting spot and has him marked in as one of the favorites to win this year’s MVP. adidas wants him to stand out in New Orleans too, as today they’ve previewed the coming adidas Harden Vol. 1 “No Brakes”, a nice homage to the Rockets fast-pace throughout this season, slated to hit Friday, February 10th.

The adidas Harden Vol. 1 No Brakes features a grey knit upper with flashy orange laces and contrasting purple shades throughout. The three stripes gradient matches the leather toe while ‘No Brakes’ is printed on the left sockliner. What do you think of this upcoming Harden Vol. 1 colorway? Check out more detailed shots of James Harden’s All-Star Game shoes below and grab your pair this Friday at select spots for $110 USD.
