adidas Originals has found a groove in revamping old-school models with full-length Boost cushioning. We’ve seen that replicated throughout the remixed adidas EQT lineup, but perhaps the latest and greatest update championing that thought process is the adidas Iniki Boost. The Iniki Boost Runner takes inspiration from the golden era of original three stripes running models in the 70s and 80s and updates that aesthetic with a slim, slip-on upper, Boost cushioning, and taped three stripe branding to match OG suede inspirations on the heel, toecap, and, and lacing system.
Today we get a look at the latest colorway, known as the Iniki Runner Boost “Pride of the 70s” thanks to its retro-inspired use of light grey, tan, red, and blue accents throughout for a throwback to a simpler time. What results is a colorway that should be perfect to wear with any wardrobe selection given the subdued tonal style and vibrant accents on the three stripe branding and outsole. It’s the perfect combination of both old and new. Check out an alternate angle below and know that the “Pride of the 70s” colorway will be available on April 20th from adidas.com for $120 USD.
