Major changes are coming to the NBA’s wardrobe next season, as the league is switching from longtime apparel partner adidas for an eight-year contract with Nike. That’s reason enough to celebrate if you weren’t a fan of those sleeved jerseys or missed the opportunity to buy Swingman jerseys at retailers across the country. Not only will the Swoosh be featured on freshly sponsored jerseys in-game for the first time ever, but the Charlotte Hornets announced that they will be the only team wearing uniforms featuring the Jumpman logo given that their owner is the one-and-only man that made the logo famous himself, Michael Jordan. In a press release regarding a change to the team’s stadium fan shop, the Hornets snuck in that information and also unveiled that the Hornets shop will stock other merchandise with the team’s logo sponsored by Jordan Brand. Stay tuned for more updates.
