Takashi Murakami has captured the art enthusiast community with his eccentric work, but more and more he’s staking his claim in the world of sneakers. His latest creation? Transforming the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 v2 into sandals by tearing off the toe and heel portions of the shoes and adding his signature touches such as the smiling flowers. It’s not clear if these custom works were done in conjunction with adidas or executed as a solo project, but it’s still amazing to see the finished product from the artist himself.
