Kevin Love’s Nike Hyperdunk PE For NBA Finals

Nike Hyperdunk 2016 Kevin Love Nba Finals Pe 01

Kevin Love has come a long way since his first season with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Gone are the frequent rumors that he wasn’t meshing with the squad and was secretly on the trading block, and we don’t have to look at his 361 Degrees shoes anymore, either. Instead, we’ve focused on his touchdown baseline to baseline assists to LeBron James, and a return to form with another All-Star appearance on his resume. Besides a guaranteed NBA Finals visit, other perks of being on a team with LeBron James include some sweet Nike PEs, and today we get to see what K.Love will be wearing in the NBA Finals with this Nike Hyperdunk 2016 dressed in a premium Wine and Gold with Metallic speckling and a brand new PE logo that harkens back to his days hooping in Lake Oswego, Oregon. Check out more photos below as well as sketches of the logo by Nike Basketball Senior Designer Darien Birks and let us know who you got in Game 1 of the NBA Finals in the comments section.

“Kevin wanted the mark to embody a few things—he wanted something that suggested his style of play as a high energy two-way player, his family and strong foundation growing up in Oregon (hence the iconic Douglas Fir), and finally, he wanted it to be bold, recognizable and timeless.” – Nike Basketball Brand Design Senior Designer Darien Birks
