Updated on August 17th, 2017: The Air Jordan 1 Flyknit “Banned” releases on September 9th, 2017 for $180.

Stay tuned for Jordan Brand’s rollout of an entire campaign around the Jordan 1 Flyknit. It was only a matter of time until we got a widespread release of the iconic first signature silhouette featuring that updated Flyknit tooling, and Jordan Brand has reached out to rapper Fabolous to help in the ad campaign. According to Fab’s Instagram page, he was on set with Blake Griffin while wearing the Jordan 1 Flyknit “Banned” colorway, a lifestyle takedown of the iconic retro release featuring woven panels for a lightweight new-aged ride. There’s no word yet on a release date for the Jordan 1 Flyknit Banned, but expect this colorway and a number of other OG-inspirations to land at retailers this summer. What do you think of the look? Check out more on set shots and stay tuned for more updates right here on Sneaker News.
