Diadora is known for their premium craftsmanship and attention to detail atop their retro running models, often seeking out inspiration from its country of origin, Italy, through different leathers and tonal colorways. Now the brand is remembering some of Rome’s most notorious emperors with a new collaboration with German boutique The Good Will Out. The “Rise and Fall” Collection features the Diadora V7000 “Caligula” features an off-white upper inspired by traditional togas comprised of unique linen fabric, a golden cracked patent leather on the form stripes, and a pony hair heel imprinted with a Caligula coin. The Diadora S8000 “Nerone” is representative of the glowing embers after a fire with purple accents nodding to the color associated with the Toga Picta, the highest status toga worn by Roman emperors.
