Steven Smith created a bonafide classic when he introduced the world to the strange stylings of the Reebok Instapump Fury in the early 1990s. It was a modern look that the world wasn’t necessarily ready for during that era given the jagged panels, Pump technology, and split midsole complete with plenty of carbon fiber, but the shoe has garnered more than enough praise over a quarter-century later. Today we get a look at what’s next in the lifespan of the Instapump Fury: knit textiles. Known as the Reebok Instapump Fury Ultraknit, the pair features a high-arching sock-like ankle collar to fit right into the lifestyle trend today while Pump technology and the original panel overlays remain. Reebok is even bringing back an OG-inspired colorway to introduce the new rendition to the masses on July 1st.
