Lavar Ball really spoke it into existence. The outspoken archetype of intense sports parent launched Big Baller Brand before any of his three sons could even turn pro, but last night it all came together despite all of the internet’s hate. Lonzo Ball was selected 2nd overall by his hometown Los Angeles Lakers, so it was only right that Big Baller Brand release yet another colorway of the $495 independent, family-owned basketball model, the ZO2. The pair features the iconic combination of purple and gold featuring a home finish throughout the upper in white synthetic leather. Patent leather hits the heel panels and tongue tag while a Crazyquick-esque outsole shows a little translucency on the Lakeshow’s purple tone to match the obvious Boost ripoff. Of course, Big Baller Brand’s website showed off the new colorway with a new tagline: ‘It’s Sho’time!‘ A full size run of the ZO2 Sho’time is available now via Big Baller Brand and will ship February 10th, 2018 in time for All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles. Because of course, Lavar believes his son will be an All-Star in his rookie year (along with carrying the team to the playoffs).
Update: The BBB ZO2 “Lakers” will now ship beginning on November 24th, 2017.
