Dinosaur Jr. And Converse Team Up For Chuck Taylor And One Star Release
Even if you’ve never listened to the band, Dinosaur Jr. is a name known in the sneaker world thanks to their Nike SB Dunk High collaboration from 2007. Later dropping a shiny purple edition of Omar Salazar’s signature Nike SB shoe in 2010, we haven’t heard from the legendary rock band since. Now Dinosaur Jr. is back, but this time with Converse to team up on the One Star and Chuck Taylor All Star High, each in special colorways featuring their signature peace-sign-giving character you should remember from the silver Dunk High.
The One star features a premium black nubuck upper with purple star logos and the character on the tongue, while the Chucks get much louder with an all-over print of green flowers above the purple canvas base. Both new Dinosaur Jr. x Converse models drop this Saturday, July 1st at select Converse retailers like Premier.
