Michael Jordan’s memorable “Be Like Mike” ads with sports energy drink Gatorade is coming to life in sneaker form. This green/orange colorway of the Air Jordan 6 is a tribute to the Miami-inspired logo of Gatorade and features a full green synthetic suede upper, bright orange detailing on the midsole and heel-stripe, and a milky white outsole to finish the look. This is just one of several storylines from 1991 to come to life in Air Jordan 6 form, as MJ’s standout flight jacket from his Saturday Night Live hosting gig is also dropping as an Air Jordan 6. Release date info on the Gatorade Jordan 6 has not been confirmed, as another style of this shoe with “Carmine”-esque colorblocking is said to be the actual release version, while this is merely a sample that was spotted in the WHQ.
