adidas Hoops has some serious excitement brewing with the debut of the adidas Crazy Explosive 17 later this month. The model reminds us a bit of the Hyperdunk 2016 Elite thanks to a high-arching sock-like ankle collar and a woven construction throughout, but with the benefit of full-length Boost cushioning and a stylish semi-translucent TPU roll cage. It looks like not all of the Crazy Explosive 17 pairs will utilize Primeknit though, as this upcoming Classic Royal colorway debuts a honeycomb mesh textile with a traditional ankle collar and tongue. The pair has a relatively Kansas vibe complete with Metallic Silver three stripe branding and some Collegiate Navy touches on the tongue and midsole.
