Five years ago, Nike changed entire industry with the unveiling of Flyknit, a new knit material made mostly of recycled plastics. You have Nike to thank for ushering in the “Knit” generation of sneakers, and this Summer/Fall you’ll get to celebrate the accomplishment by copping the first-ever retro release of the Flyknit Trainer.
Release information is as follows: the Flyknit Trainer in the original white/black will release this Thursday, July 27th on Nike+ SNKRS, NikeLab.com, and select retailers in Europe. The shoes will then release across North America on August 24th.
There are still more colorways of the Flyknit Trainer coming, such as the “Sunset Tint“.
