The Nike PG 1 “University Red” Releases Later This Month

Paul George spent two years at a school that’s not necessarily known for its basketball program, Fresno State, before catching enough attention to head to the NBA. Now his first signature model, the ever-popular Nike PG 1 will release in a University Red colorway that could be inspired by the Bulldogs on August 19th. The Nike PG 1 University Red features a combination of red suede and traditional mesh on the upper while a black midfoot strap and Swoosh branding contrast. It’s a simple enough look that we’re sure to see throughout the NBA this coming pre-season given just how popular the PG 1 has been among Paul’s peers.
