During his heyday, Tracy McGrady wasn’t only as prolific a scorer as you’ll ever see in the NBA, but he was also a sneaker icon. His early 2000s run was one for the record books when Tracy won back-to-back scoring titles for the Orlando Magic and kids were buying up his adidas signature models at a similar rate as Jordans until injuries set back T-Mac for the rest of his career. McGrady is still headed to the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in the near future and he’ll be bringing along a gift with him in the form of a very special adidas T-Mac 2 PE. The white and blue creation features an homage to T-Mac’s best friend Lil E who was killed when McGrady was playing for the Magic. He wore these T-Mac 2s the next game featuring the handwritten note ‘Although you’re gone, you’re still here. Lil E”. As we get closer to being inducted into the HOF, they called to see if I wanted anything to keep in the HOF museum. My best friend "Lil E" was killed when I played for the magic and I wore these shoes the next game dedicated to him. "E" we're both going into the HOF and I know you looking down proud of your lil bro. Love you mane! #tmac2 #thehillboys #flaboys #illnever4get #polkcounty4life
