A$AP Nast’s Converse Collaboration Inspired By Mid-Century Modern Furniture

Asap Nast Converse One Star Chuck Taylor 1

After A$AP Nast recently teased a look at his new Converse collab, today the collection is officially unveiled. The latest member of the A$AP Mob to get his own sneaker project Nast brings mid-century modern influence to his Converse One Star and Chuck Taylor Hi, reflecting his love for the style and design trends of the middle part of the 20th century. Constructed with the popular materials and colors of that era, the One Star features a dark yellow corduroy upper with the side stars in dark red, while the Chuck Taylor goes plaid in brown and red tones. Both models also feature fuzzy laces and the phrase “SOMEWHERE IN MID-CENTURY” printed on the midsoles, referencing the era that influences A$AP Nast’s creative direction.

Along with a “Somewhere in Mid-Century” t-shirt available, the two-shoe collection will release September 28th at 5pm EST exclusively at the Foot Locker flagship store in Times Square, NYC.
