adidas Opens Footwear Lab In Japan, The Brand’s First Development Center In The Country

adidas is furthering their efforts to become the most advanced footwear brand on a global scale, with a new research and product development facility in Japan. Located in the city of Kobe, the adidas Footwear Lab is the brand’s first project of its kind in the athletic shoe industry for Japan. The Footwear Lab aims to develop technologies geared specifically for Japanese athletes and the next generation of sneaker creators and designers. The facility will be used as both a research and development lab with all of the world’s most advanced footwear making equipment, as well as a learning center for future shoe designers.
