If you needed more indication that the Air Jordan 32 design by Tate Kuerbis was inspired by the Air Jordan 2, feast your eyes on this Lifestyle sample that draws in the luxury boot aesthetic onto the shoe. The Jordan 32, which debuted in late August, blends design details of thirty years ago with new-age innovation for one of the most well-executed intersections of past and present. Already praised for its sleek design, the Air Jordan 32 now appears in a lux off-the-court look as it features a snakeskin heel and full leather upper that skews the design more toward the past model. Above all, this mimics the original Air Jordan 2 colorway that Jordan wore during the 1987 Dunk Contest. A release isn’t confirmed, but given the dual-purpose nature of Jordans, we wouldn’t be surprised if Jordan Brand has something like this in the mix down the line.
The Air Jordan 32 is available now on Nike.com in several colors.
