The Air Jordan 9 “Olive” Transformed Into A Winter Boot

The Air Jordan 9 is poised to make a return in early 2018 as new Retro colorways as well as an LA-themed All-Star colorway is on the release slate. Preceding those new year options is this boot version of the Air Jordan 9 “Olive”, an original colorway of the silhouette dating back to 1994. Dubbed the Air Jordan IX NRG Boot, this offering takes the iconic look and adds outdoor-ready features such as the D-ring lace eyelets and a rugged outsole. This isn’t the first time Jordan Brand transformed the basketball models into all-weather trims, but should the brand even go down that route again?
