According to a recent study performed at CU Boulder, the Nike Zoom VaporFly 4% actually improves marathon efficiency over other top models. The study showed that runners saw an approximate 4 percent increase in efficiency while wearing Nike’s new top performance silhouette – hence the name Zoom VaporFly 4%. The study included comparisons of other top Nike models as well as shoes from other brands. The full details of the study can be seen on Wired.
