The Nike Plattenbau Dunk Honors The Signature Architecture Of Berlin

Nike Plattenbau Dunk Overkill Berlin 4

Nike takes the Dunk to Berlin with a super-exclusive release that honors the signature architectural stylings of the region. This tonal-grey colorway of the ’85 classic is inspired by the Plattenbau, the prefabricated concrete structures that have lined the cityscape since the 1960s. Although simple in styling, the Plattenbau Dunk features an assortment of key details such as the siped upper panel, the golden embroidery of D85 and D17 (a call-out to the Dunk’s origin year as well as the 2017 drop of the shoe), and the individual numbering behind the tongue. Available exclusively at Overkill Berlin on December 15th, this unique release will be limited to just 240 pairs.
