Jordan Brand will be celebrating Black History Month 2018 with new colorways of some of its most popular silhouettes, including the Air Jordan 1 Flyknit. As has been seen on both the Jordan 1 “BHM” and Jordan 1 Flyknit “BHM”, the brand is going with a theme inspired by the colors of the Pan-African flag. Those colors (red, black and green) can be seen on the Jordan 1 Flyknit’s upper, which even flows in proper order from toe (red) to midfoot (black) to heel (green) just as the flag does. The flag theme is even more apparent on the shoe’s outsole, which clearly depicts all three colors in order. The colorway gets a touch of flash from gold accents like the gold “BHM” branding on the tongue.
Look for these to release in a limited quantity sometime in January or early February as part of Jordan Brand’s Black History Month celebration.
