Ben Felderstein INVINCIBLE and NEIGHBORHOOD’S adidas NMD R1 collaboration designed in celebration of Asian Heritage is ready to make its global Consortium release next week. The embroidered tiger patch on the right heel of this offering is the clear focal point of the design that also infuses other Japanese elements throughout. Japanese characters can be found on the left heel, as well as the insole, and the entire heel strap – that usually features multiple languages. The two shops’ branding adorns the Boost sole’s opposing bumpers while their logos are emblazoned on each shoe’s tongue tab, in true adidas Consortium fashion. This luxe design is finished off with subtle tiger camouflage stripes and design details of a classic “souvenir” jacket.
While this NMD offering already had an exclusive release in-store at INVINCIBLE, it is slated to arrive at global Consortium accounts in a limited quantity on December 29th with an MSRP of $200 USD.
