Ben Felderstein No, this is not another Air Jordan 1 Royal offering. While it may look like it from afar, that is actually Obsidian featured on this Air Jordan 1 Mid design, not black. Utilizing the same color blocking scheme as its Illustrious “Royal” predecessor, this particular model sports exaggerated tumbled leather on its Royal Blue panelling and Jumpman branding on its tongue tab as opposed to the more preferred Nike Air logo. Much like the “Reverse Banned” colorway that was first previewed last month, this selection utilizes a very popular aesthetic in the Jordan Brand’s history.
