After earning the Ballon d’Or trophy in December of last month, Cristiano Ronaldo is now the most decorated footballer in the history of the sport – and he’s still got a lot of gas left in his tank. For CR7’s 33rd birthday, Nike presented him a pair of custom Air Force 1 Lows with 24k gold Swoosh and detailing in a custom box appropriate for the most prolific athlete the sport has ever seen. Created by Ben Kirschner, who as a designer worked on footwear such as the SF-AF1 series and now concocts special editions for Nike’s best and brightest athletes, this Air Force 1 won’t ever release to the public – although you still have a shot of the Air Max 97s made in his honor. Check out these special editions below, which Cristiano himself took to Instagram to flaunt to the world.
