article image

On Saturday, adidas VP, Marc Dolce, took to Instagram to reveal a Futurecraft 4D basketball sneaker. Adorned in “Ash Green”, it appears to come equipped with a Primeknit sock-like upper with a large 4D printed midsole unit.

adidas looks to continue broadening its horizons in the basketball space, as its introduction of the Boost You Wear series provides insight as to where the Three Stripes are headed. Utilizing its top technology – Boost and Futurecraft – the brand will look to continue innovating for its top athletes. When the brand is ready to introduce this new technology to a basketball sneaker, it will likely be a more refined look than what you see here – offering more support to for its wearer.

As of now, there is no word for if, or when, this sneaker will become available to the public, but keep it locked to Sneaker News for any updates as they become available.
