PATTA is known for making some cripplingly awesome collaborations with Nike runners. Their string of Air Max 1s are regarded as some of the greatest of all-time, while their co-op with Dutch artist Parra is among the grail-iest of the grails for Nikeboys. This past weekend, the streetwear label/shop dropped a surprise Air Span II collaboration, teaming up with graphic designer Linda van Deursen to create a special edition box. The original grey/infrared colorway serves as the base for their design, while the subtle mini-Swoosh at the forefoot and the Patta script logo on the tongue complete this simplistic design. Unfortunately these are billed as a Friends and Family only, so let’s hope there some good news in terms of a wider release.
