Air Jordan 1 Satin “Shattered Backboard” To Use Same Leather Materials As The Original

In 2015, the Air Jordan 1 “Shattered Backboard” colorway unexpected rose the ranks as one of the greatest AJ1 drops of all-time. Inspired by a jersey worn by Michael Jordan in a charity game in Italy, the Shattered Backboard Jordans became an instant banger that fetches high dollars in the aftermarket. Jordan Brand is reviving this new-age classic with the same color-blocking and high-quality tumbled leather materials while adding the attractive satin finish on the toe-box, heel, and ankle collar of the shoe. Some additional changes are seen in the embroidered Swoosh logo and the semi-translucent outsole. With all that said, the Air Jordan 1 Satin “Shattered Backboard” will release on May 5th with an MSRP of $160; these are made exclusively for women, but will be available up to a size 12 (which is equal to a mens 10.5).
