Ben Felderstein adidas and Parley For The Oceans’ longstanding partnership continues with a brand new two-piece collection with one Ultra BOOST option for men and an Ultra BOOST X for the ladies. Inspired by dark blue and green hues that can be seen in the waters of an urban harbor, these silhouettes fuse performance-engineered footwear with eco-friendly innovation. In typical Parley x adidas fashion, each selection helps eliminate around 11 bottles from the possibility of ever entering the ocean’s waters. FC Barcelona goalkeeper Marc ter Stegen has joined the movement to help spread awareness to this great cause.
“I live by the sea and try to spend as much time as possible there,” ter Stegen said. “When I first learned about the adidas and Parley partnership, I immediately connected with it. I want to help change our environment through an initiative I believe in. This time around, adidas has seamlessly injected an NFC chip into this collaboration that provides the wearer with information straight to their phones regarding plastic pollution. Both the Ultra BOOST and the Ultra BOOST X will hit select retailers in limited quantities on April 22nd.
