The Nike Air Max 97 Reveals Itself In “Binary Blue”

Nike’s much-loved Air Max 97 continues to surface frequently in fresh new colorways, and the latest iteration, a “Binary Blue” combines subtle and flashy cues for a unique take on a classic. Featuring a straightforwards black mesh upper with black tonal stripes, the shoe’s loudest design piece is the blue patent leather mudguard that wraps around the shoe from heel to toe. Further blue flair arrives courtesy of an aqua blue swoosh on the tongue and aqua blue detailing around the midfoot swoosh. The shoe’s look is capped off with a white midsole, black Air Max cushioning unit, and aqua/grey detailing on the black bottom. There’s no official US release date for these Air Max 97s yet, but if you can’t wait for them to arrive stateside, you can grab a pair from atmos Tokyo.
