That specific colorway of the Air Jordan 3 went on to be part of a special “Become Legendary” display at the Naismith Hall Of Fame which showcased Air Jordan models in original colorways, but the fact that this white/red wasn’t in fact born in 1988 added to its mystique. In 2018, Jordan Brand will finally release this Retro shoe on May 12th, and they’re bringing it back to the New Orleans community by awarding 10 scholarships through the Jordan Wings program to graduating high-school seniors.
