The Golden State Warriors have been without superstar point guard Steph Curry for the vast majority of the NBA Playoffs due to a left MCL injury he sustained during the regular season, but with the sharpshooter making his return to the lineup, Under Armour is set to launch a Curry-centric live trivia game entitled STEPH-IQ that’ll broadcast every time Chef Curry hits his first 3-pointer in a playoff game, starting with Friday’s Game 3.
Similar to wildly popular mobile trivia game HQ, each free-to-play game of STEPH-IQ, hosted by popular internet personality bdotadot5, will feature 8 multiple-choice, single-elimination questions either related directly to Curry himself or greater basketball history. Any participant who makes it through all eight questions will receive a share of $10,000 in Under Armour store credit split between all winners, and be eligible for the day’s raffle of additional prizes, including pairs of the brand-new UA Curry 5.
The app is available now on the Apple App Store and Google Play, and the first broadcast will go live Friday immediately after Curry drains his first 3-pointer against the Pelicans, with further broadcasts set to arrive during future Warriors playoff games. If you’re a Steph Curry loyalist or you think you know your hoops, be sure to tune in so you can win your share of the extensive jackpot, and for more Under Armour news check out the first images of A$AP Rocky’s chunky new signature UA sneaker.
