Of course, there would be no Uncle Drew with Irving, but the hooping grandpa still deserves credit for one of the most compelling sports alter-egos we’ve ever been treated to. Dressed mostly in white, this simplistic take on one of the world’s most popular basketball sneakers ushers in a boldly embroidered blue Swoosh as well as a speckled pattern on its heel that wraps from the lateral side to the medial. Much to the delight of sneakerheads and Uncle Drew fans alike, it is finished off by a gum bottom outsole that creeps up onto the sneaker’s midsole by way of its customary outriggers. Pairs of this Uncle Drew-inspired Kyrie 4 are currently slated to arrive at Nike Basketball retailers on June 23rd while Drew and his team of hooping seniors hit the silver screen on June 29th.
