Renowned artist and graphic designer, John Van Hamersveld, has teamed up with Vans for a two-piece Vault collection utilizing his iconic Wave print. Consisting of two Sk8-Hi sneakers – one primarily dipped in red, and the other in blue – both iterations feature an aesthetic that could easily adorn an album cover. In Hamersveld’s career, he designed album artwork for famous artists the likes of Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones and The Grateful Dead. Hamersveld branding can be seen on both tongue tabs as well, wit ha “JVH” globe logo on the right and a caricature of his face of the left. In typical Vans fashion, an entire line of apparel as well as skate decks will accompany this collection as well.
