adidas Skateboarding‘s Nora Vasconcellos is one of the brightest rising stars in the world of women’s skate, and her climb to the top is continuing with her first signature sneaker: a customized take on the classic adidas Matchcourt RX. Vasconcellos loves pastel colors and is known for her individual aesthetic, so the sneaker arrives dressed in a light pastel purple, embroidered with a unique floral design—that was created by the skater herself—on the heel. The shoe’s upper is constructed with a mix of canvas and suede, fading from a light purple on the toebox to a slightly darker purple on the midfoot and heel, where the aforementioned embroidery provides a bold pop of style. A white three stripes graphic and white midsole provide contrast, and further details arrive via the customized tongue and heel patches, a gold “Nora” foil stamp, and white insoles with whimsical orange and teal patterns.
