Ross Dwyer J Crew’s long-standing partnership with New Balance continues, as the two have teamed up for a summertime New Balance 998 colorway, inspired by classic hot dog condiments. Nodding to the “Big Three” of ketchup, mustard, and relish, the colorful sneaker features an upper that’s composed mostly of a shaggy yellow nubuck (mustard). Accents arrive via a bold red on the tongue and toebox (ketchup), and bright green hits on the midfoot New Balance logo and front segment of the midsole (relish). The shoe is completed with grey accents on the heel cage/midfoot and a clean white collar/Abzorb midsole. Look for these condiment-inspired kicks to arrive on J Crew’s webstore July 12th.
